The Randall's and HEB at 290 and Barker Cypress have power and are open. Shelves were stocked when I went in but will start running out fast so get down there ASAP. Also, if you drive a diesel there is a stand alone pump at HEB so you wont have to wait in line for 2 hours to fuel up. I drove around the lines through the parking lot and right up to the pump and the credit card reader is working. The Randall's is one of the ice and dry ice pick up points. All you can carry is what they are giving out.

Yep, stay away from there. There's only two ways to enter at the HEB at the intersection so come in on the feeder, cut through the shopping center parking lot, then make your way across Barker Cypress into the HEB parking lot and you can drive right up to the diesel pump on the far right.

 

any price gouging on fuel.......other than the normal gouge???

 

A few have tried it but the mayor sent a task force after them. He publicly put out the message that any retailer caught price gouging on ANYTHING would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. He aint Fin around.

Update: Thousands of line trucks and crews have arrived and are staged right now at The Sam Houston Racepark. They have now started restoring power at a rate of 10,000 homes every 15 minutes.
