Anybody Have An Aquarium

I have a 75 gal aquarium kinda plain inside right now, but it sure makes it easy to clean. I have 11 fish and if they keep getting bigger I may have to start puttin them in the frying pan:D. They all started out about 3 inches in length.

I dismantled mine after my last fish jumped out. I had an Arrowanna that I got at less then an inch long with the egg sack still hangin off of him and he was 27 inches long when I found him on the floor. I had other fish along the way in with him but for some reason they disappeared eventually. I just figured somebody broke into the house once in a while and stole em ya know. It was a 150 gallon.

Yeah I hear them all the time hitting the top of the water, it has a glass top so they cant jump out. If they keep getting bigger I will need to get a bigger tank. That suckermouth catfish can grow up to 2 feet long.

I had some pretty big pieces of drift wood in it but I had to take it out, the fish are getting to big they didnt have any room.
It was at first, I added another filter to it, just the one could not keep up, with both the water stays crystal clear and the suckermouth catfish do a pretty good job on the glass. so its not bad.

We have an aquarium...only have 2 fish right now and a snail. We have an Iridescent Shark (which was quite tiny when we bought it) and a Blue Gobi Dragon, which was the size of my little finger and now is quite large....

Mrs_E2theRock2 09-06-2008 11:37 AM

Ooo that pretty I want one.

Redpatcher0481 09-06-2008 01:28 PM

mikmaze 09-06-2008 01:48 PM

lollollol

mikmaze 09-08-2008 07:32 PM

yeah jenn, see the pics now, nice to see someone else with a sump setup, I have a 40 gallon sump under the 220, but with so many fish in my tank and so much food gone through in a week, it begs to get a little manual cleaning as well. the sump is just part of the filtration, UV helps out, and 2 hob's and a fx5 finish it off.

kbailey 09-08-2008 07:39 PM

Oh damn, tin foil barbs and a plecostomus .... I hope you are in this for the long haul. Dad has a tank in the living room that used to be at his office. The tin foil barbs are friggin huge and are at least 10 years old. The plecostomus is also at least 10 years old and is easily 19" long. They can make a 75 gallon tank look tiny in a hurry.

Redpatcher0481 09-08-2008 08:15 PM

Yeah I'm in it for the long haul, but if they get to big I got my fishing pole and frying pan ready.:D
