Fried Oreo's
Step 6: Place coated cookie carefully into hot oil. Repeat for each cookie. Fry on both sides, turning over once until golden brown.
Step 7: Remove fried cookie from hot oil and drain on paper towels. Note: The cookies inside should be soft throughout, if they are cold and hard reduce oil temperature. Step 8: Dust with confectioners sugar. (if desired) Step 9: Let cool slightly (about 2 minutes) before serving ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I just followed this recipe with my new deep fryer. |
i would like to try these :U:
i had a similar recipe here in GA that used funnel cake batter instead of pancake batter. it was awesome.... these sound just as good.....
They are great if they are anything like the ones from the fair.
anything fried is tasty :yum:
hmmmmmmm I bet this would work for vienna fingers, chocochip cookies, nutter butter.... awesome idea bud :D
I tried the one's at the fair (made with funnelcake batter) and they were wayyyy to sweet. The pancake batter tones em down a bit but they're still awsome.
Oh the thicker the batter the better it sticks to em. Mik, they even have fried twinkies now! :choochoo: |
lol mmm well lexis favorite cookie is Oreos. now she can have them for breakfast too.
