Disk Brake Pads and Metal Backing - Keep Seperating On Everything I Own
 

WTF i dont buy cheap pads but the metal backing keep separating from the pads , on my truck it wedged its self against the rotor and was glowing red I thought it was going to catch fire ...

Took the cars apart and both inside pads on driver and pass side were separated

Whats the deal

Same pad manufacturer? Probably had a bad batch.

Ill have to get some online next time i wont be buying them at advanced

Sounds like they went with the lowest bidder, somewhere in China/Japan perhaps.

i get them doing that alot......especially if they get thin.....dont buy crap unless you drive crap.....

I guess it could be my mechanical abilities that causes equipment failure , its pretty tuff to put them pads in the metal guides and slide the caliber back over them

you did just about kill yourself making peanut butter and jelly.........i also hear you cant operate plastic screwdrivers very well either........:yeah:
