I have never been scared of a snake, but I do not think I could have one as a pet.

That kind of snake is ok, it's the ones in Washington DC that scare the crap out of me

I bud of mine had a red tail boa. She was very friendly. I only held her maybe four times, but each time she would curl around my arm, lay her head in my hand and go to sleep.

She was cool...:U:

My wife wants an albino boa. I told her that she should ask her next husband for one.

cash shells and snakes...things every man should have on the table...minus the snake part. Not afraid, just don't want one for a pet.

definately would not have one as a pet no way, if there out in the field thats fine but when they get to close to the house:gunner::raygun:

dmaxjenn 07-23-2008 09:00 PM

My freinds had a trantula.. I let it crawl across my hands, petting it behind to get it to move, the little hairs on there feet go right into your skin so you have to be really still.. buddy let it crawl across his face......i wouldnt go that far.

I used to have a ball python... I gave her away when I moved though :( I do miss her. It was so cool to put her in the bath tub & watch her swim... they are sooo amazing in the water.

Where I live now we have no poisonous snakes & boy am I happy with that! As the last summer where I used to live we had 9 rattlers & one in the house even!!!! I was home alone of course my husband was on the road. I called him on the cell & he said just get a 5 gallon bucket & coax it in with a shovel. I was like are you F&*&#@ CRAZY?!?!?! So... since it was in the entry way of our house which we were setting tile in & it was not finished... I decided to grab the shotgun & load it with a light bird load. I shot it dead on & it shot it up in the air & got guts all over the cieling lol The hardest part was shooting a gun in the house... but I know now that if I EVER need to again I can :) It was hard to clean all them guts up too though!

Redpatcher0481 07-28-2008 11:42 AM

lollollol I bet you did have a mess to clean up.

My red tails were pretty big, I had to sell them. We bought a MinPin and when the snakes were out on bannister they would eyeball her like she was food. It wasn't fair to keep them in their aquariums all the time. The MinPin was food size. Tabatha was 8.5 feet long and Zues was 8 feet when we sold them. I used to nap with Tabby all the time.
