5 Gallon Bottled Water Bottles

Hello,

I have a standard water cooler with 5 gallon jugs. I have always just bought the bottled water from the store.

Trying to cut back expenses, I am refilling at a filtered water vendor stand for $1.50 vice $7.50 for a new bottle.

The bottles from the store are sealed with a cap that have a feed tube and valve of sorts.

To refill the bottles, I had to remove the cap. Are there any replaceable & reusable caps for the 5 gallon water bottles? Where can I get the replacement caps?

Thanks

You don't need to put a cap back on to use on the dispenser. Actually the caps that come on the new one's can be reused so that the bottle does not spill, just rip off all of the side and the top will snap back on.

I refill at the windmill too. The caps are re-usable like posted above.

Duh! But, thanks. I didn't really look at it. That was easy enough. An easy way to say a few more pennies each week, too. That is simple enough.

The water out of the windmill isn't bad either. Atleast I don't have to chew it before I swallow it like we do Edwards Aquifer water. :U:

Yea, we had those Wind Mills down in the Valley in TX. Good water. There was even another brand that had ice as well. Good for filling-up the water cooler for hunting and fishing trips.

we had one and mom would fill up the jugs at her hair salon cause she had county water and bring them home and i would just put saran wrap over them, flip them over, and let the little thing poke through the saran wrap......worked good for me.....

water bottle caps

I was looking for replacement caps as well .... Yes , they are re-usable , but they do eventually wear out & crack also after long time use & need to be re-placed occassionally . There must be some place that sells them ! We have used saran wrap & rubber bands as well , but that's too easy for my little ones to remove . If you know where I can get replacement caps PLEASE let me know !!!!:ok1:

Im sure you can buy new caps. I fill my own bottles at a self fill place and they have new caps. I will see what I can find the manufacturer for you guys.

I have five bottles here with screw on caps , if anyone wants em, prob would not be cheap to ship though?

I don't know for sure but I would think that you could just slap a shipping label on them. I do not ship that much so I am just thinking.
