Korea
 

I have been in Korea now for just over 10 months, i have traveled to japan twice since i have been here, back home once (Ky), and back to this crap hole!! Its a straight 12 hr flight from Korea to Atlanta Ga, and then 1.2 hr flight to Ky. Then 1.2 hrs back to At. Ga, and a 15 hr flight back to Korea. I went to Okinawa, Japan, and Atsugi, Japan, next to Tokyo. These were both beautiful places, i traveled to Tokyo while in japan, a very different place. If you ever get a chance to travel to Japan, GO!! Korea, not so much!! That's Just my take!! :5: :yeah:

Man I dont want to go to any of them places !

I think Japan would be kinda cool. I don't think I'd enjoy Tokyo but some of the few "off the beaten path" places they have might be neat.

Traveling in Japan, by train was difficult, there was about 10 of us and we still had trouble getting around. But yeah all the other places we went to was awesome, Okinawa was the best place, kinda tropical and the people there were fairly nice considering that Asians are more hateful by nature than I am use to back in the states!! I can't say that i didn't enjoy all the traveling, the trip to Kadena AB, Okinawa was the coolest, we flew in a C-130!! Net seats are the best!! LOL!!

Are you two on drugs? I think yall need a UA, LOL. Well I reckon Kadena might be an alright place to visit, but I was stuck there for two years and hated that place. Hell, in the summer it was so hot and humid that they didn't even care about uniform creases and what not in the summer. On top of that, no offense to the Marines on here ( my brother's one), but them hot headed sum b!#$s would come off a float and LOOK for Air Force guys to fight with in the bars. But that's just my take on the place,LOL.

id break up that fight......real quick.....:w2:

Yeah the marines did seem to be pretty rowdy out there but we didn't really have a problem because the base was on Curfew while we were there. :U:

Well Air Force guys don't have a rep like the Marines do, but you get all the guys I work with out drinkin we're not like a lot of the people the fly desks,LOL. We're a bunch of rough around the edges construction guys (carpenters, equipment operators and such) so it got kinda wild a few times. No offense Jen, but I don't think you coulda done much to stop some of the "bar room brawls" we were in LOL.:ouch:

Yeah, we had a curfew the whole time I was there. 2300 during the week and 0100 on the weekends.
