I Might Be Selling My Truck! Anyone Want A Grail?
 

So yeah here it is:(



J/k its good news:U:

I went to look for a new truck for my dad today he hurt his right shoulder a few months ago and just cant shift the 6 speed anymore. So its going to become a work truck and he's getting a new one. SO we find a cherry 04.5 QC SB 4X4 Auto In charcoal with dark windows 109K. We take it for a test and i love it leather heated seats lots of power and a lot more comforts than my grail. So i tell him i really like the truck he says more than yours and i say yeah. and he says what if i make it your company truck would you come back and work for me ( I quit to go to a bank cause i was tired of mowing. He has a mowing and landscaping biz) I said yeah i don't know why not. So im not sure at the moment if he meant the company buys it and i drive it or he meant i buy it and work for him. He offered .50 more an hour than the bank. Not much i know i know but he will pay my fuel bill. So there's about 150-200 extra a month plus tires brakes etc are paid by the company. He also said that he has more brush hogging jobs than he can handle and has been turning them down because me and him are the only ones he trust on the Deere. So he said id be mostly brush hogging witch i always love doing anyway. The good thing about working with him is if i need a day off i can get it. With the bank not so much. Not to mention my boss has been a major bitch lately and taking random days off leaving me the head teller in charge. But im still getting paid a teller 2's wages. WTF So i open or close the bank and open accounts and get paid the same as the other guys there that dont do anyting.... So at the moment i might be selling my grail and getting a CR. Or maybe i should keep it. Well im just not sure. Ill keep you guys updated.

That's cool man. It sounds like a really sweet truck.

I'd take a look at why you split from your dad in the first place and make sure that you won't be dealing with those reasons again in the future. If something happens in the future and you start wanting to quit again for the same reasons it might get ugly since he's getting you a truck.

Well it aint going to happen. My dad pulled one of his old moves and changed his mind so im staying at the bank for now. plus i think i like my 98 more

They are 2 different animals...the 24V does run better in the winter though (which is kind of important for me).
