Flu Prevention....

Hey guys, i found out today my sister and her kid (we think) both have the flu. Whats the best way to prevent me from getting it? Is there something i can take to help fight it off or something i can do or what?

I work with a hundred people and one of em always has the flue it seams

first and foremost never ever put yer fingers in yer mouth.....................always wash yer hands b4 handlin food

the flue virus hangs out on door knobs and such and is waiting for you to grab hold.

keep yer food and water intake up and get plenty of rest to insure your imune system is up to par.....................a weak imune system will be had by the flue

One way to help is to keep from coming into contact. If by chance that you do, keep your hands sanitized by either washing them or Purell. Keep your hands away from your eyes and nose. There isn't anything but a flu shot to prevent the flu. Antibiotics DON'T work. Also what Whitmore said>>>keep your immune system up.

I wash my hands at work and use the drying towel to open the door knobs with to get the hell outa there

my locker is within view of the shitters and I can tell you that 50% of the people go in there and shat then leave.............no wash of the hands :run::run::run::run::run:

some of these dumb asses go in and eat lunch too :ph:

That's asking for more than the flu. Flu will seem like an allergy compared to what you get from idiots not washing their hands after pooping. And isn't sh*t a word reserved for the BL?

CumminsCrazed 06-18-2008 09:25 PM

well i wear contacts.....so im kinda screwed for not being able to touch my eyes.....i gotta take em out and put em in somehow

wildbill 06-18-2008 09:30 PM

Just as long as you wash your hands!

Would it be smart for me to stay in our camper instead of my room with the door closed to keep myself away from the virus things in the air or is keeping my door closed to my room good enough to keep them out

SOME people think that airborne works... don't waste your money... just wash your hands all the time, steer clear of the sicken's... I'm with wildbill antibiotics are a joke

Yep!! Which is why we got these super germs going around that even the most powerful of anti's have a heck of a time killing.

CumminsCrazed 06-18-2008 10:10 PM

soooo what about the camper issue, am i safe in my room with the door closed or should i go out into the fresh air away from the house all together and reside in my camper

MrS_sLoWtOwPiG 06-18-2008 10:22 PM

wow... it's just the flu cc... it's not that bad...

wildbill 06-18-2008 10:45 PM

I would sleep in the camper. Just make sure you don't go inside the house, cause then when you go back in the camper>>>>Contaminated.

Keep your hands clean, spray the air and surfaces w/ Lysol, keep your immune system healthy by taking vitimins esp. C, don't pick your nose, (I didn't say it was going to be easy), avoid touching the infected, keep your distance from sneezes and coughs. Alot of people confuse a cold with the flu. If you have the flu, you should be to sick and too weak to be up and at'em.
