Dog Poop

I was just wondering what you guys did with your dog's poop in your yard.

I have been reading and have learned that it isn't good to be flushed in the toilet, thrown into the landfills and shouldn't be composted if the compost is used for food gardens.

I found what some Canadians have done is make a septic system for dog poop. Give me your thoughts on this and will it work down here in hot and dry south Texas with clay soils?

I hate my neighbor because his house is trash and he keeps leaning stuff against my fence even though I've told him several times not to.

So...

My doggy-doo goes in his yard!

Mine goes into the corn field at the back of my yard:U:

It works here. We built one that resembles the store bought ones. :rocking:

Personally i don't see why you can't flush it. Poop is poop.

Make the in ground one though.
Unless you like the look of a big can of poop.

Feed you dogs really high quality food, then thye wont poop so much, take them for walks let them poop along the way, in wooded areas you need not clean it up. but you can get green disposable doggy poop bags, but you hand in pick it up, pull it inside out and throw it in the trash........... :U:

Even something simpler or maybe cheaper anyway... Pet Poop Septic System

That one would work too. :) We've never bought any chemicals
for ours and it seems to break down and soak into the soil
fast enough for our needs. You may need to look into how
well it will work in a clay/soil situation like you've mentioned.
