Fried Green Tomatoes
Cut Tomatoes into thin slices, about 1/4 inch
Get three bowls. one for flour, one for eggs, one for breadcrumbs and Parmason Cheese. The amount of each ingredient you use depends on how many you going to do.. Dip Tomatoe into flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Fry in melted butter till golden brown. both sides Use brown bag or something to place your Toms on to soak up extra butter. Eat , enjoy...:) *you can do this recipe with Eggplant, and add soya sauce for a little more flavor. Chicken Breasts, cut into strips, serve with Blue cheese dressing. Tenderized Steak,,,~Hospono. serve with soya sauce.. |
Just like a canuck to put cornflakes in with a nice southern dish. Don't use egg, use buttermilk...trust a fat country boy. :deal:

Maybe thats why im so skinny..lol:U: Ill try it with buttermilk, as long as i dont drink it hungover,,, yuck thats deadly stuff.. now i just have to wait for the tomatoes to grow...be awhile yet.:w2:

I love fried green tomatoes,cant wait till its time to start a garden again so i can get some green tomatoes from it, nothin like fresh ones.
