Interior Painted Sheetrock
hey I'm about to move out of the house I've been renting, to another location. Not too long ago I realized that the wall I have my bed against has some color on it from my sheets/pillow case, since I don't have a headboard.
is this something I can clean off or do I have to paint over it?? it's just typical white painted sheetrock with some texture/spackle in it. |
If it is a rental that is considered normal wear and tear and they cannot hold your deposit from you. If you are just trying to be nice you can go to Sherwin Williams and get a gallon of contractor grade paint for around $8.00 per gallon that will cover about 250 sq. foot of wall.
If it is latex semi gloss you can clean it off with a wet WHITE rag. If it is flat then you cannot clean it much. |
just get some, vim or something that will take it off.......:U:

Before you paint - try a Magic Eraser. These will take marks off just about anything:
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser |
how do you erase magic?!
thanks for the replies, that was pretty helpful! I'll try a few out in my 'spare time' before I move in a few weeks... |

Magic Eraser will work, but be very careful. It is like wet sanding. It is taking paint off and you quickly be down to sheetrock or primer.
