I Have A Brother After 34 Years WOW
 

Hey i thought i would speek out loud and tell everyone a little story.

I was emailed the other day to my work e-mail saying was your father so and so. And if he was that he is my brother and has been tring to locate me for years. Since we have a web site and my name was listed on it he found me what luck wow. Well my father was married before and long story cut short they some how lost contact over his ex wife and she took himfrom my dad. But i cant believe i have a brotherafter 34 years its sorta a shock and everyone kept it from me to this day. And now that my frather died when i was 11 i was never told or never new the full reason for him signing off rights to my brother. But i just though everyone might think this was kinda cool and i am still shocked. And the best part he owns his own machine shop in fl and now i guess we need to get intouch soon and start making anything and everything diesel lol.:pca1:

Same thing happened to me in 2004. After 28 yrs both of my sisters from my dad's 1st marriage found me. Neither one knew the other was looking for me and they both found me with in a month of the other one.

They don't own a machine shop for my beckoned call though.....wanna talk trades? :humm:

Ya its weird i dont know what to say when its time to say something but when i am sitting around i have so many things to ask. I did find out he was a fighter pilot and then was a top gun fighter pilot trainer. God i feel like a losser after knowing that and now his own machine shop gees i missed out on something maybe guidence since i sorta rasied my self from 11 years old. but hell i am still happy i know there is part of my dad around

Well you can't base your worth on what he has or hasn't done. Everyone has a path and a purpose. The ones that should worry are the ones who haven't figured this out yet. He may even regret some of the choices that he made for all you know.

I don't think it is. All you have to offer each other is time. I'll tell ya it's tough though. I'm in MN, 1 sis is in TX and the other is in AZ. We haven't seen each other since the 1st time we saw each other in 2004. We talk as often as we can.

Just take it slow and see how it develops. Get to know each other.

That is good stuff I hope you guys can meet up soon. If you have kids maybe the cousins can all create a bond you 2 did not have growing up.
