In honor of a very close friend of Bobby and I, we will be raising money and walking in this year's March of Dimes March for Babies.

When our friend Suzanne gave birth to her son 8 weeks early, it really opened our eyes as to how much the March of Dimes really does. She now has a healthy and happy one year old named Aiden.

On April 4th, 2007 our very good friends, Suzanne and Steve Zeliff, gave birth to thier son Aiden Alexander Zeliff. He was 8 weeks early. :eek: In honor of his birth, the Zeliff family has started a team to participate in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica event in Newport News. To help out Steph and I will be walking for Team Aiden in the event. Just to bring y'all up to speed every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in WalkAmerica support research that saves babies' lives. We have set a personal goal of raising $250 for the event. Not only can you make donations by cash or check, (you can PM me for a mailing address) but the March of Dimes actually has a website set up for each team where you can make donations by debit or credit card.
