Carrying a Gun

How many of you carry a hand gun in your Truck? Any of yall carry it in a mini safe?

I carry it next to me between the seat and console with one in the pipe and fifteen more behind it, when I leave it goes into my conceal holster. And if I get into trouble I will be heading back to my truck to get the big scary boy... I dont have a safe nore do I want one to store my hand gun, I would not mind it for the rifles because of thieves but if you run into a thief or mugger who is threating you life and he has a gun pointed at you the last thing I want is my one and only tool that can protect me in a safe, and locked.

It is likely that states differ greatly on rules for
guns. A police officer who knew said in South Carolina
you may carry a gun openly in your truck but the
clip must be separate.
In states where you'd need a safe? People would
be sorely tempted to circumvent that law.

I carry a 38special in the console, it can also hook to my belt with the new holster I got recently. it is smaller than my 357 I usally carry, I some times have a rifle with me but not always:c:

Alaska is a carry as you wish state, so I prefer people to guess. Is he or isn't he.

I used to all the time but being in construction and working on schools and university's most of the year I don't. The power house I work at some does not allow firearms on sight either. I'm not going to chance losing a good job for it. I don't want to be an example for some idiot turning me in and having to fight a felony.

I'm all for concealed and carry, as long as training goes with it.

Did have a good feeling the other day, went into a restaurant in Columbia, Mo. and right on the door was a sign saying concealed and carry is welcome in this business.

I've worked at places like that too. I have asked for permission and have never been turned down to carry "covertly". When 911 happened, I was asked to along with several others.
Comforting to know that a nut job can walk into a power plant and do whatever they want to and no one will stop them, just like our schools.
