In The Market For A New Digital Camera...

I Currenty Have My HP 8.1MP P&S.. But Am Looking For A More In Depth Camera. I Have Used My Buddies Sony DSC-H9 And Like Its Features. As A P&S It's Easy To Use and Adapts To Many Situations On Auto, Then Switching To Manual Has Great Options and Still Remains Easy To Use.

So I Am Thinking About Going With The DSC-H9

As I Am Sure At Least One Person Will Claim. The Nikon D40 Has Received Great Reviews And Exceeds Most Consumers Expectations.. For What I Do, The Price Is To Heavy For My Use. In Reality.. It Still Is an Option.

I almost bought that Sony, but I ended up getting the Sony 8.1 that has the touch screen display.

The ONLY reason I did not get the other Sony is that I keep my camera in my glove box or I carry it in my pocket at a job site. Not practical with the other camera.

I have a sony cybershot 5.1 mp but have used the nikon dx40
nikon get a :up:
the sony can`t compare with the nikon for picture quality,speed or the user freindly options

Speed Wise The Nikon Is Rated At 2.5fps and The Sony Is at 2.2... I Can Only Imagine The Nikon Will Have A Manual Selection For The Mode - Where The Sony Will Be Digital, Button, after Button To Get It To The Action Mode..

I Am Really Leaning Towards The Sony..
