And Maggie has calmed down ALOT in th elast month or so... Either we are getting beter at hiding crap or she is growing out of th echewing stage.

TCU Fan 03-24-2008 08:59 PM

Oh, you know it's my dog then... We had that discussion this morning.

It's HIS dog when it's being cute, wants love or to play, but if she's hungry, thirsty or has an accident, she's ALL MINE. :s:

We already have one... Check out my avitar. That's Jesse, my lab, and Maggie, the mutt...

Maggie is freaking out that there is actually someone in the house smaller than her. She just keeps staring all wide-eyed at the puppy. If only she knew...

I feed and water them... Dog poop makes me wanna PUKE though... It's funny... Being in the Fire Dept I am always the one who walks around and picks up the body parts at the REAL bad accidents... It's nothing fo me to be Bleed on, puked on, or even craped on in the back of the Medic Unit. But let one of the dogs crap or puke in the house and I get the dry heaves like nothing else.

And when exactly do you feed them and give them water??? Just trying to figure that out so I can be there to watch.

Check out your puppy this morning... She fell asleep between my feet while I was getting ready for work.

RSWORDS 01-25-2010 09:21 PM

oh no this dog is by FAR the dumbest lab I have even seen.

akguppy 01-25-2010 09:34 PM

Have you taught her to eat her own poop yet? :scare2: Saves cleaning up after her!
She looks like she just ate the canary.

countrygirl34 01-25-2010 10:06 PM

We got a chocolate lab puppy on Dec 23rd...she'll be 11 weeks old Thurs and holy shit she's a terror!

akguppy 01-25-2010 11:33 PM

Yep, labs are not supposed to be indoor dogs. They like long walks in the park, sunshine, their ears scratched, swimming and general outdoors recreation. Sounds like a hook-up list, eh?:jump:

yj junker 01-26-2010 06:38 AM

my yellow lab (5yr old) hates to swim, she refuses to go in the water, she lays around the house most of the time, when the kids are outside she will go out to play with them, sometimes she will go out when the cat goes so she can play with him, tried to make her my garage helper but the wife keeps getting pissed at all the grease she gets on her hair, never noticed it with my last dog(he was black:humm:)

Our labs have a doggie dog... They come and go as they please. They sleep in the house on the couch most the time...

akguppy 01-26-2010 07:32 PM

Doggie dog? Is that like a Snoop dog? :humm:  I think you meant doggie door. For a dog that sized, it hasta be a big-un.

RSWORDS 01-26-2010 07:59 PM

:D yeah doggie door.

And yeah, its a good size.

toy4xchris 01-26-2010 10:04 PM

Man Labs are great dogs I had one as a kid he hated water but he was the best dog to have around us as kids he took better care of us kids than we did him. My parents have a chocolate lab and yellow lab now and the chocolate one is one heck of a watch dog nothing gets past him heck I am lucky to get through the door if I show up to visit late at night.
