ZF transmissions

Is BMW using the ZF transmissions in there diesels.They hardly stay together behind there gas engines.:humm:

Which ZF? They make many models. The Ecomats used in our buses hold up to the 1,100lb/ft torque of the Cummins ISM very well.

i got a zf auto in my tdi passat. broke the tq converter seals last year and puked tranny fluid all over my driveway. but i limpped it to the dealer where it was under warranty and got a brand new tranny.

My ZF 5HP-19 in my 525i,broke the front drive drum so I had no forward gears.For what they are and how much they are.They would hold up.:td:
