I found a 79' kw aerodyne with a 3408 cat.............
I'm into cabovers. They are dissapearing out here in CA. So the 3406a would not be choice? What does a 3406b have ove the a? |
3408 is amazing, but you're lookin at 25k for a rebuild

The truck is on the east coast. Shipping would cost me huge. Rebuild on anything big would be 10k and up, right?

Well I'm just basing it off personal experience. We had one that one in a Ford at the fire dept. I used to volunteer at. Honestly, the truck spent more time in the shop than it did at the station due to issues with that motor.
