'90 mack Superliner want more power

Details later, but im drivin a '90 Mack superliner RW700 w the inline 6. Its got a p-pump look alike... hehehehehe got good power but i want more obviously, anybody got some hints? lol Im lookin for a perticualy post on here but dont have time enough at the moment to dig it up. But if anyone can tell me the ins and outs of that lovely little injection pump and tuning it, it would be highly appreciated!! Thanks guys :c:

Ok, so i did a little browsing, and went to neverenuf's page, what engine do i have? am i running an E7 or an E6? how do i tell?? I read the mack tuning for an E7 which I am assuming I have..... My injection pump looks like a P-pump, and mounted on the passenger side... it is turbo charged, and air to water I believe, and have a boost and pyro already.... How much boost is too much stock, whats the turbo going to handle? whats the engien going to handle? Im not looking for a smoking power house, but I need more snot hauling these loads for the gas companies here in north east PA!!

Low buck diesel power | turn up your fuel rate for free, or almost check this out and see if it will help :humm:

The Mack uses a little different fuel plate than the rest of the P-pumps. There's 2 screws to adjust, and I cant remember which one controls what.
The little additional power it makes, isn't going to hurt the turbo or the engine, unless you get the EGT too hot.

The pump is identical to a 5.9 p7100 just on the passenger side of the engine. And I checked the link and I have come to the conlusion that mack used another pump as well because on the top of the pump, it does NOT have two plugs to remove and screws to turn. It is identical to a p-pump.
However I wont be getting to play with the pump now as one the truck is on lock down by the PA state DOT untill its fixed. (BOUT TIME!) and two I quit working for back stabbing POS last night.
I do think after driving a superliner with a 13 speed, I WANT ONE!!! lol thanks for the help guys

wow you go thru jobs like you do trucks!!!!!

hahaha bite me chad! :tttt:

OK, so I might be goin back that company and getting the Superliner back..... long story...
If its like they said then it should be a go round this time, and hopefully a lasting job... (wish me luck)
So that said, how high of boost numbers are safe to run through this engine? Id hate to explode the poor thing, but a lil more power would be really nice. I know its tuned pretty conservativly as it doesnt smoke AT ALL.
IF I sign back on with them i'll snap a few pics of the pump so you guys can see. :c:
