L10 Cummins
I didn't know where to post this so I just did it on this one anyone know what size turbo is on a 1981 Ford semi with a L10 cummins?
Moved to Semi forum for better exposure... :tu:
It could be several turbos... but more then likely its a H2e Hoset...
idk what size it is, but its probably to big for the average street truck, a guy at a local shop told me that a street truck would have a hard time getting an hx50 to light
A H2e is perfect for a 7.3 with stock injectors... I am running a modded H2e with larger compressor and exhaust wheels...
an L10 is a 10 liter engine. the hx50 prolly work.
I dont think an Hx50 comes on them... I could be wrong thou...
The L10 didn't come out until '82...
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Check out the second section and you'll find your answer: Oregon Fuel Injection has the turbo for your truck with a Cummins Diesel engine |
Last I heard, they had an HX50 or H2E.
HX50 is more suited to the 14L engines like the ISX.
The 855(14 litre) used the HT3B, and such variants. The HT50 was also used on the lower power 855's.
hx50 on the m11 cummins
We had an L10 in a fire truck in our dept that wasnt turbocharged and it actually ran great. Wish we could have afforded to turbo it.
