have you tried all the usual things changing the fuel filter making sure it has fuel and the fuel supply or shutoff solenoid has power not trying to be rude just trying to figure out what you have done

Make sure you have over 11volts while cranking, if you do then chances are there is an HPOP/HEUI problem.

the fuel solenoid is on the side of the fuel pump and should have three wires running off of it and one should be hot when the key is on so take your test light or multi meter and check to see if you have power to it if it dont start looking for bad wires, bad fuses, bad circuit breaker.if the juice is there and you cant here it clicking with the turn of the key then you might need a new one the caterpillar part no is 8c-3663 and i hope this helps you to get back in business

heres a simple idea. make sure filters are tight, and make sure primer on pump is secured and gasket is not letting air through on the primer. have had that problem before on the 3126.

JHAYS: I also have a 3126 that will not start. Tried everything, but not sure where the primer is located. Can you point me to it?
Thanks
