fittin a 6v92

i found a 6v92 detroit out of a gmc bus for $300 and a 3208 cat for $1,000. i'm planning on converting my 1968 chevy c50 to diesel. which one would be the easiest(and best) of the two to stick in there.

That's a tuff one. If the 3208 is turbo, it would be worth considering. If you're goping to be driving it yourself much, the 3208 will surely run quieter.

good luck, that 92 is heavy. check the kits to make sure it is good.

Honestly, would you rather have exploding diarrhea or extreme constipation? About the same choice really...

I would pick the 6v92 over the 3208, but I enjoy Detroit noise and park in gravel, so depending on your own deal you may want to pick the 3208.

Neither engine is really that great, both are expensive to fix, don't have a lot of oomph, and get crap mileage for what they are.
