BRIDGE FALLS UNDER LOAD
1 Attachment(s)
this load is way oversized for this pony truss bridge and I bet the drivers butt was bite'n the seat

WOW :sos:
What was that driver thinking. |
Idiot

You all blame the driver. In this case it may be true. I am seeing more and more mistakes being made by engineers. Plus the cost of steel is skyrocketing. Engineers are now cutting corners to keep the cost down. I see stuff like this happening more often.

ouch, he didnt make it far!
wonder if he read the sigh that says (Weight Limit X Tons) |
How many millions is that goona cost an insurance company before it's all said and done.

Ok i gotta say something, i am a driver, this is not always the drivers fault, his boss could have told him to do it or a cop a or some other dumb azz who did not know anything about the load he was carrying or it was the only route to take. Just so we can clarify, we are not all stupid or idiots who drive trucks and make mistakes, everyone does it everyday in every profession. DD

I used to drive too and they are not all idiots. But I'm bettin that one was the drivers fault. I'm sure that bridge has a weight limit on it that is far less than that load he was carrying. I have seen permits that route stuff in the wrong direction and down the wrong roads. Either way, sucks to be him
