brondondolon 01-16-2012 02:29 AM

can you do the 2003 6.0?

ZombieSoldier 01-16-2012 10:50 AM

Ok here is an update.

At this time I making them for the 7.3 Powerstroke. Both OBS and the Superduty. The 7.3 Powerstroke intake comes complete with filter, clamps, AND CCV delete mod, powdercoated in whatever color you want. Price is $200 plus shipping (shipping averages $20.00)

I am currently building an intake for the 24valva cummins. It will be sent out shortly for test fitment. If all is well with the fitment, the 24valve intakes will be $200 complete with your choice of colors in Powdercoat. Again these will be complete with everything needed for installation!

6.0..... She is a miserable lil bastard with all of its completed bends and damn MAF sensor. I am hoping to have a solution this week do stand by!

12valve and other cummins I need to see how you are setup to see how similar it is compared to the 24valve 2nd generation ram.

FUMMINS.... Please let me get my hands on one!!!!!

So again the 7.3's are shipping out and customers love them. $200 plus $20 for shipping.

NOW... I do have presently a few options for filters. The standard filter is the water resistant Donaldson which is the same dimensions as the "6637". Then there are optional filters that are an up charge.the include Green filters, K&N, and AFE.

Bump :c:

I'm holding out for a Fummins one

ZombieSoldier 03-08-2012 03:18 PM

I can do a Fummins, that should be fairly easy. Send me pics of your engine bay and approximate measurements if the area I have to work with. Zombiesoldier01@yahoo.com

As far as the 6.0 I have lost my mock up vehicle due to moving across country.

codyawise 03-24-2012 05:25 PM

this is the same exact setup on my 97. not to be a complete :moon:hole or nothing but anyone can make there own for like 70 bucks

ZombieSoldier 03-24-2012 05:32 PM

Now this is true but then you add powdercoating, and CCV delete pieces an you will see where the cost comes from. Some people would rather just buy a complete kit and throw it on and not have to worry about measuring, cutting, painting etc. that's where this comes in. Btw ours is 1 piece aluminum now so it's no longer 2 piece so it looks much better astetically. Thanks for your input though.:humm:

That is true, and really that is true for any modification. But if everyone made their own stuff, there wouldn't be any businesses in operation. For clarification read the quote below...

I have now sold it and bought a 2004 Excursion 6.0 and want a new intake!!!! Gregg, when will the 6.0L be ready? I am in Cumming, GA.

97cummins 04-16-2012 03:35 AM

ZombieSoldier 04-16-2012 04:15 AM

Pulpit 04-16-2012 09:42 PM

Sounds good. Keep us posted.

brondondolon 05-13-2012 08:36 PM

make a 6.0 yet?

joshbaker 05-29-2012 02:34 AM

Dang this would be seet for the 6.0..... Any luck yet?

TNich 11-26-2012 11:13 PM

WHat's the difference between the filter you use and say a K&N that's cleanable and rechargable. Is yours basically the same or does it need replaced ever so often?

Hot air = less dense, higher EGTs. Are you going to manufacture a heat shield for those filters in the near future?

actually on NA vehicles it makes a difference. we have done testing on boosted vehicles, and because of it pressurizing the cylinders there was a very negligable difference in power made, and negligable difference in EGT's. I also hauled a loaded trailer cross country and never once had an issue with EGT's nor heat soak.

either way, no i am not planning on a shield. it would be more money added to the cost, which would drive it out of the affordability market and into big manufacturer territory. I dont make these for profit. I am full time active duty army, doing this on the side to help fellow diesel guys have an attractive affordable intake.

evan7.3 01-16-2013 07:08 PM

I pm'D you yesterday, and tried emailing you. im interested in the intake. Please email me at evantemerson@gmail.com thanks a lot!

ZombieSoldier 01-16-2013 07:18 PM

Sorry it went to my spam emails.

Rbmoomba 02-02-2013 10:05 PM

Any increased mileage noted with this setup on a stock 7.3?

ZombieSoldier 02-03-2013 06:53 PM

Nothing documented, but I wouldn't see why, IF you keep your foot out of the throttle, since you hear the turbo a lot better, and it sounds so good LOL

Cinchup88 03-20-2013 04:05 PM

Curious if you've thought bout making them for the Dirtys as well..didn't see anyone ask that yet.

ZombieSoldier 03-20-2013 08:05 PM

i have been wanting to, but haven't had a chance to get my hands on one at all. currently i am deployed to Afghanistan so production has been stopped until i return.
