Amsoil Bypass installation kit for 04.5 and up

I'm making installation brackets for the 3rd Gen Cummins Amsoil BMK11/21 bypass kits to mount just above the CP3 pump. This bracket will mount to the engine block using 3 threaded holes that are already there and the bypass kit will mount to the bracket and hang the filter just above the CP3 pump. With this bracket there is room for all 3 Amsoil bypass filters, BP90, BP100 and BP110. This mounts the filter vertical for a no mess filter change. The installation kit will include the bracket, and all the nuts, bolts and washers needed for the install. I sell these kits for $55 shipped. If you are interested send e-mail to FFsynthetics@live.com. That is the best way to get in touch with me. Thanks,

Doug

yo,buddy
I do not think amsoil recamends monting of filter on the motor for vares resons. I also am going to do the bypass system. Well probley go to pass fram rail.
Good Luck and GOD BLESS:

I'm also an Amsol Dealer and I've had my BMK21 mounted here on the same bracket for about 2 years and 50K. Miles with no problems. Amsoil gives no mounting recomendations because here are so many different applications and places that mounting recomendations would be a full time job for someone. Framerails are a popular spot also but some guys are aprehensive about knocking them off while offroad or with road debris.

Any plans for making brackets for 2nd gens? Fits on the passenger battery holddown, seen a few customer's pics on the amsoil website but don't see any for sale.

None right now, but if I start getting a lot of customers buying the bypass kits from me that have the 2nd gen trucks we can fab one up. I really just started making these brackets for the guys that buy the whole kit from me so that I can offer something that noone else does to draw more business. I have only had a handfull of 2nd gen guys buy a bypass kit so the demand isn't there for them like the 3rd gen. I've sold over a hundred of these for the 3rd gens.

Is your bracket holding the filter at a angle or vertical do you have any picks available this time. On the web site are varies mountings shown is yours close to one of those. The fram rail would not be my first chose ether just trying to avoid the heat and vibration. And I know how tite it is under the hood.
Happy holidays and GOD BLESS

Mine mounts the filter verticle. I tried many variations of what I finally came up with to sell and the angled mount was one of them. With the angle it made a mess when you change the filter, with the verticle you can change it without spilling a drop. I also made mine so that all three filters will fit, EABP 90, 100, and 110. They are made from a thick magnetic stainless steel. I can't remember what gauge it is but it's thick enough that it can't be bent, I had to weld 2 pieces together to make the 90* corner then welded a gussett on so there is no question on if it will hold. They are WAY overkill, but I know that one will never be sent back. There is a picture similar to mine on the Amsoil website, it's the one that shows a pic of the bracket before the install, then with it installed on the truck and in the narritive he says that his supplier will make them in bulk if he asked them to. I think it's on an 06 Dodge. I have several pictures of mine no my old cell phone but haven't taken any with my new phone and I'm at the Firehouse today so I can't get to it. I don't drive my truck everyday, I have a car to rack up the miles on.

I made one that sounds similar. It is very thick. Withouth the support bracket, it had a terrible vibration at idle. Added the support and it pretty much eliminated it. The stength of it is imense but you need it to rid of the vibration because it's mounted to the engine.

Sorry, I couldn't get picks loaded. They are too big.

:nice:

Yup, I agree! They aren't easy to make either. When you look at one you'd think that anyone could make one but when it comes right down to making one that will hold up to the abuse and get the holes to match up exactly with the ones on the truck and finding the right hardware to match the depth and threads on the truck, it's a lot of work. That's why they are the price that they are. For anyone who has done this knows what it's worth. This bracket makes the BMK 11/21 a true bolt on kit and takes all the guesswork and mounting headaches out of it.
