Ok heres the story. I have a Pioneer Premier Bt deck, 2 6" infinty Kappa's and 2 5x8 Mephis M-class speakers for mid's and highs ran by a 500.4 interfire amp. 2 10" Alpine Type - s and 1 a1000.2 Interfire amp.

Today i was detailing the truck with the music playing as i have done for the last 2 years with this setup. When I pulled out the sub box to vacuum under i let the wires touch my seat then the sub amp went into protection as i have done before.

But now i am getting really bad feedback through the mids and sub amp still wont turn on. I figure she's blow so i disconect it and still bad feedback through mids. I checked fuses and tomorrow im going to run my speakers off of my deck for now.

This sucks but anyone with another idea to check let me know thanks.:U:

Here is link for more amp info.

Had a similar thing happen a few days ago with my set up in my Camry, you might want to double check your grounds and remote wires. My remote wire broke loose under the folding section of my rear seats and it was causing some entertaining feedback that was in tune with my engine rpm's. You also might want to check your power wires for singeing, discoloration, and corrosion. Oh and if you don't mind opening your amps up you might want to check for internal damage.

Well i checked wires and found power to be loose but still had feedback. Remote wire looked good. Lots of corrosion though so i think ill buy new BIGGER wires for the demands. What i ended up doing is removing both amps and running speakers off of deck power. (for now ) When i first had this system i recalled having the same problem. And one channel in the amp had let go. Im going to call the stereo shop and see if i can send in both and trade for one to run the massive subs.( 900 w each ) :choochoo:
