CB antenna
I need a CB antenna. I was wondering what I should get and if I have to get it tuned or not. This will be going on a 99 Dodge. :U:

My set-up, its a basic Tram metal whip. I had a firestik b4 this one but I got rid of it since I had to park in a parking ramp on the job site. It basicly got ruined since it was not very flexible and hit and dragged on the roof of the ramp. I thought it was going to rip off or dent my fender from the pressure. :D But thats why I went with a metal whip less surface area and it'll bend very easily if need be. But goin down the road with the wind its fine. I get all of mine tuned since the place I buy the whips does it for free. But I would anyways since it will give you better range. Heres the mount for the 94-02 Dodge that I modified for my 03 and it works great.

I've always had luck with my Wilson silver-load. They're really easy to tune and have great reception.

I have a Wilson Trucker 5000 and have never had an issue with it. Been using it for 5 years so far no problems.
