Stereo Upgrades

Ok guys the stereo in my truck has a nice little bump to it. Who ever said power corrupts the mind was right. Now I'm looking for some thing bigger and better in my head unit, amp and subs. I would like for it to be loud enough to were i could bump some one else off the street. I was thinking about Rockford subs and amp, and a head unit with the best sound quality to push the subs,door speakers,and tweeters. Oh and i'm looking to upgrade the tweeters also. Any pointers would be a great help and where to get them @ the cheapest place would be to get every thing. tHaNkS!:5:

I would recommend PowerAccustic Subs they hit pretty good, had some in my old car 109 Db in the drivers seats not to bad, not real sure about an amp.

you cant go wrong with a Kicker setup either them things will rattle your brains out.

Well There Is About 5000000 Different Ways You Can Go, One Guy Stating The Next Is Better.

I Am A Man Of Sound Quality, Not Totally Quantity (Although My System Bumps!).

My Setup Was Over $4K Including The Navigation. My Preference (Which I Swore I Would Recommend To EVERYONE Once I Heard Mine For The First Time) Is Boston Acoustic Speakers. I Have Their Pro 60's - They Are Flippen Expensive, But Their Step Down Is Boston Acoustics SX60 6-1/2" component speaker system For 6-1/2" and 6-3/4" openings at Crutchfield.com = Sweet Sound - Doesn't Require A Large Amount Of Power To Create Clarity.

NOW, For The Part That I Think You Will Like - I Am Also A HUGE Fan Of JL Equipment - To Me They Are As Top Shelf, & As Long Lasting As Possible. I Have The JL 500x5 & A 10W3V2. And It Bumps.. But It Sounds Like You Want More.

I Would Recommend A JL 12W3v3 - New Design, Claimed To Be Indestructible.
JL Audio: W3v3 Subwoofers
Sub Amp : JL Audio: Products
Speaker Amp: JL Audio: Products

Your Rear Speakers Are Not As Important As Your Fronts.. Meaning You Can Be Partially Cheep With Your Rears.

Hope That Helps :U::U::U:

I have rockfords in my truck with Sony ES bits and pieces. sure there are better things out there but without a sub or an amp the rockfords will work great.

I think i found a good deal on subs,box, and amp from rockford, BUT the it's really expensive @best buy the amp is like $650, the subs and box are like 450, but i can buy for a best buy card and can make payments as low as $12 a month on them. And sense i'm buying so much from them they will knock like $150 off. I'm just going to think about it for a while.:humm:

I have a stock head unit with the stock infinity speakers and they were pretty good but i wanted to bump a little not a lot a little so i went a purchased a JL W1 12inch for under the rear seat. I didnt think it would hit that hard but i also but a JL 1400E amp to it and turned the amp down to 600 watt and it hits pretty good just enough to rattle the crap out of my doors and mirrors lol
