Default radio suggestions

My daughter has an 03 ram with the radio controls on the steering wheel. I want to replace the radio with an aftermarket so she can use her bluetooth. Can any one tell me if there is an adaptor I can buy or a certain type radio that will allow here to keep the steering wheel controls ?

I like alpine units, clean, functional, and they rock. I'm sure you can talk to a rep about interfacing with wheel controls

I haven't heard such adapters. I will recommend you pioneer stereo. I guess that can fulfill your needs

I have a Pioneer HU and use Axxess (sp?) to integrate the steering wheel controls. Works great.

I like Alpine much better than Pioneer. But if you're set on using steering wheel controls, you need to buy the head unit that works with that. I personally would just rather use the radio itself.

Also, can't you put in a double-DIN radio into that RAM? I thought Dodge and Chrysler products make it fairly easy to put aftermarket radios in them. Ford has all proprietary sizes so you can't change them unless you want to make a new hole in the dash.

I like Crutchfield. Great phone support. And they have often included the important wiring harnesses and radio installation kits making things much easier.
