i have a 93 betrag 360 4X4 .. i was coming out of town, shifting into 5th, i wasnt on it, just takin it easy and go into fith and let out clutch and nothing there ... no loud bangs are clunks ,, nothing, clutch was great ... i go thruough all the gears and still nothing. i put it in 1st and let clutch out and it has a little whine, and progressing with the higher gears. i went through all the gears in transfer case a still nothing.. im just curious anyone else had this issue ... im looking for direction before i tear it apart ... thank you

 

So you completely lost every gear eh? I'd be willing to bet you blew out the clutch or took out the input shaft somehow like I did. I'd pull the shifter outta the tower first n make sure that end of the shifter didn't break out. Also when I did my tranny I cut a nice whole in my floor big enough for the shifter tower to come off with the tranny still in the truck. hen just made up plates to go under the floor to hold that piece I cut out in place. It saved me from dropping the tranny two weeks ago when I lost 5th gear over a stupid roll pin.

yeh getrag ... sorry .. yeh i have a decent whole cut in with a diamond plate cover ... ill check that out .. thanks..
