Default DTT transmission buying question

so i was looking on dieseltrans.com for a 47re DTT transmission for my 2001 dodge ram2500 and i came across on their website that i could get a billet transmission with triple disc t/c for $2100, sounds like a bit off to me is this legit?

here is where i saw it

The way it sounds to me is that you could get all the parts for $2100 and you'd have to build it yourself. I spent about $4k on mine built and installed.

Correct.... all the parts for a rebuild plus TC $2100 and then just have someone build it.

Drop trans yourself and bring to a shop will decrease cost greatly. Don't know if you have the facilities for that but it's something you could consider. Planning on full rebuild?

That's an excellent way of going about it. It does cost more up front, but shouldn't be a hassle again, I did the same thing. Supplying parts will reduce cost, but see about warranty. Some builders may void warranty when they have parts supplied.

No problem. I ran into it with my builder. I was going to supply a T/C, but he really didn't like the idea. More or less a "who's to blame" if something happens. I let him use all his stuff, so its all HIS fault!!
