I have been working and spending tons of money on my 98.5 and Im getting a 02 dodge 2wd 6 spd is there anything I should be aware of on this year different than my 98.5?
The truck is my bosses truck and has 113000 miles its a baby!! only bad is it needs a injection pump but I got the truck (not yet really) for 5500$ which is a steal, its pretty cherry! everything that is on my sig will go onto this one and the 98.5 will be sold as a stock truck. I cant think of a lot to look for... I'd say the pump but thats already bad. Id say the front end but 2wd's usually dont have the same problems as 4wd. Id say check the body for rot rust but your in MO and that isnt too big of a problem there.... Clutch condition maybe? But you'll need to upgrade that eventually anyways...

 

yea it was a California truck so there is no rust! the clutch yea thats a no brainer... and the pump defiantly! has all new rotors and brakes, nothing ever done to front end so that might come soon. ac blows cold, and heat hot he says. owned since 35k and no issues..
