Default Clanking from front passenger side on my DMAX

I recently purchased a 04 LB7. It has 65,000 miles on it. After I purchased it I changed the oil and greased up all the fittings first thing. Just yesterday at 68,000 miles my buddy ridding in the passenger seat noticed a clanking coming from the front on the passenger side. It's a metallic clanking sound. It sound like its coming from the wheel. I only notice it when going over speed bumps at low speeds. I haven't torn into it yet? Any suggestions? Wheel bearings? The hub? Has anyone has the same problem?

jack your front end up, and see if there is any play in the hub or u-joint, etc. also it may be the bolts on the front cross member (fixed by putting washers on them).

does it occur while turning hard and backing up like in a drive way?

X2, & check out the whole front suspension, could be balljoints, shocks, etc.

Thanks for the insight. Il let you all know what I discover. I do actually notice it when I'm turning. But again only at low speed. I'm not sure if that's cause
My trucks so loud or it goes away when I pick up speed.

I checked it out. I can't believe it I feel sorta like a jackass. I didn't know that the hub cover was 2 pieces. The inside one was loose and rattling. I just re-sat it and it was good to go. Thanks guys for your advice though. Look forward to further discussions with y'all.

That's why I don’t run hubcaps. Well, that and it's just more crap to deal with when messing with the tires.

Yeah I agree. But if it all were that easy it wouldn't be any fun either
