I have an '03 Dodge Ram with a Cummins re-manufactured engine, standard transmission and it won't start. The engine turns but it won't fire. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

 

Unplug your fca and see if it fires! "Wire on the back of the CP3 Maybe your system is dumping thru a bad check valve "PRV" You can put a temp cap in it's place. You need some guages for sure! Any codes?

 

I would check the injectors my friend has a 2003 and we went crazy running things down and replacing parts and as soon as we replaced the injectors it fired rite up. We used either to start it when the injectors were bad and it would fire and run fine until you shut it off again then we would have to spray it again. As long as we left it running it was fine but like I said if you shut it down for any reason it would take either to fire it back up. Hope this helps.

 

reman engine? was it done by you? are you sure its a 03 engine? i agree. check your codes. (key trick) and look up your codes and let us know
