Default Couple questions about my 95 12 valve.

I recently bought this truck and it has an ungodly amout of power! I love the truck, it drives exceptionally well, and runs good too. I have a couple questions about it though.

When i first crank it up, it does the normal blue smokin like any old truck does but what scares me is that when the truck is completely warm after ive been driving it for a while, and i sit still and rev it to 2000-2500 rpms, it will sit there and constantly smoke blue, and it does the same at high rpms from 1th-4th gears. (nv4500). The truck doesnt seem to have lost anypower, it just smokes. My dad said it could be where it sat for a while and the valve seals dried out and is letting oil thru. It does only have 183k on it and thats kinda low miles for a 95, so it probly sat for a while. Just the thought of having a bad engine scares the living (censored) out of me. Any ideas on why it will do this, here, ill list all the mods that the previous owner told me about.

90hp injectors, aftermarket timing gear (he also told me that it may be a little off), CFM intake manifold, S&B cold air intake, pump work done: starwheel turned, smokescrew turned, and an aftermarket fuel plate that is flat(idk what rating of fuel plate that is). 5" turbo back exhaust, south bend clutch, nv4500, 5th gear nut fixed, and autometer pillar gauges.

If yall can point me in a direction or give me some advice that would really help!! Thanks!!

I dont have any big mods on mine but mine does the blue smoke as well so im just chimming in to see what every one says. I got a 96 with 168k intake with a 4" Thats it. mine does it when I start it and most the time stops after I drive it a bit to get it to running temp. but its been doing it alot more latly. So hopfully I learn something. Thanks

there are two types of valve seals for these trucks, one is the hat style and the other is the old valve seal that just sits on top of the valve guide.

I would do a compression test, and or blow by test.

Hey countryboy, I read your sig amd I was wondering how your 5" straight sounds. I kno my sig says I have a 5" and all, but truth be told, its on its way as we speak. I currently have all stock, with the exception of a muffler delete and straight installed there. I just want to know what im getting myself into..

Well to be honest, it does have one small muffler that im planning on taking out SOON!! But even will the muffler its still loud and sounds amazing. People say a straight exhaust gets annoying for everyday driving, it really doesnt... Its great to have. YES straight pip ur truck and you will be more than pleased with the sound it makes and the heads that turn ur way.

I got the whole system on this morning, and it is absolutely AMAZINGG!! I'm completely in love with it. It has SUCH an amazing drone, and isn't annoying whatsoever. Sound like a friggin log truck, haha
