Is a bus cummins short block the exact same as a dodge rams? I read somewhere tha a hole had to be drilled and tapped for the throttle linkage.

 

Could you post some more details about the bus engine? I'd assume it's a 5.9, but that's just that an assumption. Whatever details you can add would be great, I'm sure there'll be someone on the site who'll have information for you

 

Its a 12valve p-pump. That's all the told me. I can get a short block with a little over 100k for 800. That's without head or pump. They can also pit a head and pump on it for 1500. Those are prices with trading my old stuff.
