first start up?
I have always wondered why is it when an older first gen fires up it is instantly, when newer trucks seem to roll all the way over once. nothing wrong just curious?

Plus most electronic engines like to verify there's oil pressure present before they fire and run, first gens just have the dummy light in the dash; no shut down wired in. Wouldn't have thought the cp3 but it does make sense.

Got ya, just find it dumb for programming to have an opportunity to trash your engine; running for 3 minutes before any alert to definite engine damage. Speaking from industrial aspect; you get a 30 second warning then the engine shuts down.
