hey everyone, just wondering if someone could give me a little insight on my new truck. I just bought it and its my first chevy. I turned on the 4x4 and the front tires are not pulling, i checked to make sure the front driveshaft was turning and it is fine. is it possible the hubs are not locking in automatically? any advice will be greatly appreciated!

 

I am no expert but you may want to start looking at your vacuum lines.

 

are you getting service 4wd message in ipc?

 

i found the problem turned out someone had fixed the axle before me and had not properly installed the axle back causeing the right front to not engage. thank you though.

 

The cv axle bolts on so I cant see how someone could have done it wrong
