i cant seem to get the heaterbox to drop from under the dash. i have taken the hole dash out enough to work, radio out glove box off cluster out nuts off fire wall vents out and plus more. i tried using a rubber mallet to hit the studs through on the fire wall and all it did was loosen the box up a bit but cant seem to get it drop. anyone know of any hidden bolts??? need help asap!! thanks a bunch in advance

 

Mine was a b@tch too, it did not just drop out, I had to give it a lot of love

 

haha i already cracked ALOT of original brittle plastic parts and im starting to get frustrated. what did you do to get the box out?

 

You fer sure you got out ALL the screws in your firewall?? Some of those dudes are hid pretty good. As for me, we beat and cussed, and just kinda took my time. Good luck

 

thank you and i will double check for them all out its something holding it in on the firewall behind the manifold
