hey guys i have heard some guys throwin out there that there is a silencer ring that can be removed, is there one on the first gens i have a 91.5 cummins and my buddy has a 05 that we took the ring out of but i dont see one on mine. and if removed does it take away from the life of the turbo?

 

They dont have one that I know of.

 

i dont think they do either... My 97 stroker didnt have one

 

only some trucks do. my 03 cummins has one which i removed, but my dads '10 cannot be removed

 

I removed the ring on a HX35 from an '01... soon to be running in my '93
