i dont have the break down infront of me but do they all use the same clutch pack? you could have a blown seal around one of the pistons thats what happened to me but i had all the other gears no drive and if park or nuetral dont work how do you start your truck? your sure its not a linkage issue?

Who installed the valve body? Have you adjusted your shift linkages? Park is a mechanical engagement... Shouldn't not go in park unless out of adjustment.

the only thing that makes sence is the linkage between the your arm and the manuel valve in the transmission including the shift lever, linkage down the steering colunm, linkage between there and the shift lever on the transmission, the actual shift lever in the transmission, and the linkange between there and the manual valve. Do you feel resistance as you move the shilft lever in to or out of each gear selection? Also be sure to check the shift linkage mounting bracket on the drivers side of the frame between where the suspension arms bolt to the fram especially if you've had a broken transmission/motor mount lately be sure to check them also.

Or someone for got the park paw. I would start with linkage and move to line pressure for additional diagnosis if you still have issues

Can't be a line pressure issue as there should be no line pressure in park. This has got to be an extrnal problem with the trasmission or if you drop the pan and check where the rooster colmb fork conects into the manuel valve. that would be where the only intrenal problem would be. sorry to be so blunt but that is the truth.

I removed all the linkage. I use plyers tochange the gears by hand from under the truck. The parking paw is in.

No duh dummies .
That's why I said fix linkage first and if issues with correct operations still exist. Check line pressure but didn't feel like typing it out in detail on a tiny keyboard... thanks for questioning my intelligence
