Default 98 2500 12V 4x4

Hey everyone! First of all I have been reading threads on here for years and just became a member. I have a 98 12V 4x4. Upgrades include 80 horse injectors, timing advanced to 16 degrees, cold air intake, electric fans, KDP fix, boost, fuel pressure, and pyrometers gauges, no fuel plate, and AFC adjusted. All this is backed by a 47RE with Suncoast internals. I was wondering what my next upgrades should be! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like time for turbo upgrade with some gov springs and delivery valves. Also be careful with no fuel plate and a functional afc.

Why should I be careful with no fuel plate? Also, it has a set of 3K governor springs. Forgot to add that.

Also, what is a good turbo recommendation? On my 24V I had a BD Super Special. I'm considering going with the Industrial Injection Silver Bullet. Probably a 64MM.

The Special I had was badass! I also know a guy who runs the HX35/HT3B twin setup. Any opinions on that?

4k's are the way to go. Usually with no plate and afc still hooked up than can be a recipe for run away engine. I know alot of guys run with no plate but, Ive heard stories where the afc foot can hang the rack and cause run away. They may have had a diff. rack plug installed too, cant remember the details.

I'm not gonna **** up anything throwing 4K's in it? I'd hate for that to happen. Two weeks after I got my 24V, I burnt a ring and had to do a rebuild. I'd hate to go through that s**t again.

Running no plate and getting your rack travel stuck is a myth.

Ok...So today I went and got my Super Special back....so that will be the turbo. I have the 4K's on the way. Also a set of DDP Delivery Valves. Where should I go next? Also, my pump timing is at 16 degrees...should I go more?
