Question Which aftermarket CP3?

Hey guys, how's it going? I'm pretty sure my injection pump just crapped-out on me. Trouble code is P0628 Fuel Pump Control Circuit Low. I want to get a CP3 that's better than stock but won't break the bank. Anyone have any suggestions on what company or model to go with? Thanks for your time guys!

Did the truck die on you? Pretty sure thats a lift pump control circuit code, only electronics on the cp3 is the fca and you would have a fuel control actuator code set if its circuits were messing up

Yes, it did die on me. I was cruising down the road doing about 45 or 50, hit the throttle and the truck bogged down and then died. After that it would turn over and idle for about 30 seconds then bog down and die. Now it won't turn over at all. I can smell diesel fumes and the pump itself looks a little damp.

Fuel pressure from the lift pump might be good at idle but driving down the road it might drop idk just somthn to look at. Usually the cp3 pumps dont go bad its injectors and lift pumps

I appreciate the help guys. I think I'll try the lift pump first and go from there. Thanks again!
