I have a 3500 4x4 ext cab 5 speed 12v dually just bumped my timing today to 18* my next step was gonna be 4k gov springs and 60lb vs is that gonna be a waste of time and money with having 4.10 gears?

Hope you find a good way to use all the brakes and steering with a lifted truck going that fast, too.

Glad I don't live in KY. Sounds like somebody's gonna get killed in or by the driver of a '96 12V there one of these days here pretty soon.

most cost effective rought is prolly gonna be find a good set of donor axles. changing the ring and pinion is expensive as hell. approx 5-$600 after parts and labor per axle. may get a better rate shopping around but its still gonna be salty. do you do much highway driving? 4.10's will yield better fuel economy in the city. be faster stop light to stop light and pull a tremendous amount better. the 3.54 are supeirior if you have an unlifted truck do a bunch of highway and use the taller gear. food for thought

Any kinda street racin is dangerous wether u r in something slammed to the ground or in something that is leveled out I jus want it there For wen my buddy's and I go to the track and run em down the strip? But for the most part most of my drivin is on back rds and a Lil city driven. So 4ks will be worth gettin even with the 4.10s?
