Depends on how bad it's leaking! just watch your temp leave your cap loose to get home! get a new pump and in 15 minutes you can replace it!

I replaced the OE with one from AutoZone, it lasted less than 100k. I just replaced it with a Bosch from Geno's Garage...we will see how long it lasts!

It takes a little bit to replace them the first time...about an hour. Slip the belt off, the pump is held on with two 10mm headed bolts. I find removing the two top fan shroud retention nuts allows it to collapse and makes feeding the old pump out and the new pump in easier. You don't need any sealant, they are o-ring'd and self sealing. If you need more room to work, I also remove the air box so I have room to work my arm in from the side.

Make sure to pull one of the allen-head pipe plugs from the block when refilling with antifreeze to make sure you don't get air lock like I did!
