Question Serp belt question?

My a/c went yesterday in my truck so I went and bought the non ac belt and noticed that wen it come to the tensioner it needs to be a ribbed pully. Has any come across this problem and what was your fix? Can I get the belt on without changing that pull, if so how do I route it? If anyone has pics that would b awsemone. I don't really plan on putting ac back in the truck for awhile maybe even never. Thanks for the help guys

You can get away using the smooth pulley but if that really bothers ya you can take the pulley off and have napa get you a ribbed close in size and bolt it on
