Default NV5600 Input shaft

Has anyone ever broken and NV5600 input shaft? Mabey towing a 28' gooseneck with 500hp and a dual disk isnt a good idea. Will post pics of the destruction later.

Unsprung hubs are killer on shafts and splines. My last unsprung hub in a T56 turned the input shaft splines into razor blades. I'll never put an unsprung unit in anything short of a track rat.

Need more pictures of the ends. Can't tell if it was a clean break or if it had been working on the moment of fail for awhile.

Rough texture = clean break
Shiny = Its been at it awhile
