Read their company profile and feedback on Amazon... seems legit. The company based in Indy. the Turbo looks like the same one I bought from JKidd about a year ago not quite as cheap as this one, but close. mine was made in china as a generic Universal turbo for the B-model Cummins. when I installed mine we had issues with fitment. not a huge deal, but due to the length of the wastgate actuator rod and bracket, and where they landed when properly clocked we had to cut out some inner fender to accommodate rerouting the intercooler tube a little bit. It works great and is a mild upgrade from stock. I can't say this one will be the same, but just cause it isn't $1000. doesnt mean it isnt true.

 

Yeah I suppose so but I'd hate to spend the money then it take a huge **** and be out 300 bones... Hmmm I'll look and check them out

 

i would definatly call them. Legit Hx40s by High tech are over $1000 so this could be a fake turbo

 

its a chinese hx40 knock off. there crap from what ive heard

 

X2 on that. The diesel shop that sold me the new internals for the 99 said you'd be lucky to get 30k out of it. Also, their feedback is not based on 30k+ miles down the road. You get it and it probably works great so you leave positive feedback.

 

Ahhhh see, I knew it would be garbage... Seems like people get hustled on these thinking there getting a good deal then it takes a ****...
