Heater block question?
I have a 96 12valve cummins and it's my first winter with it and I was wondering how long do I need to have it plugged in for? And how long can you have it plugged in and it not do any damage? Thanks
i leave mine plugged in the winter. if u plug it in cold about an hour it will be good.

Okay. Another question is I'm still on high school and I was wondering I live in Ohio and it gets extremely cold in the winter, if it sits out in the parking lot in the winter for 6 hours will it even start?
I live in Trenton Ohio by Cincinnati, I have a ford powerstroke, I plug mine in at night after work until morning. I work shift work and sometimes work a double or 16 hrs and my truck will start, and I think I have bad glow plugs. You'll be fine for 6 hours
